Job Summary The Visiting Research Laboratory Technician will conduct laboratory, field, and greenhouse work on the function and expression of photosynthetic genes for the RIPE project. Duties & Responsibilities Processing plant tissue for RNA analysis (including RNA isolation, cDNA synthesis and qPCR) Conducting field and greenhouse experiments (including planting, tissue collection, minor maintenance, taking physical and gas exchange measurements, harvesting and processing harvested material) Data entry, processing, and statistical analysis of the gathered data, and provide written summaries of these statistical analyses   Additional Physical Demands Work is performed in laboratory, greenhouse, and field set
