IngMar Medical, LLC, Respiratory Simulation Specialists, located on North Lexington Street in the North Point Breeze neighborhood of Pittsburgh, is seeking an experienced full-time Reliability Engineer.

Responsibilities
Test Engineering
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, including verification and integration test cases
Manage all testing equipment and create testing stations appropriate for development activities
Conduct thorough product testing to ensure functionality, reliability, and adherence to quality standards
Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate with the engineering team to implement corrective actions
Automate testing processes whenever possible to improve efficiency and accuracy
Support the development of validation testing plans in collaboration with clinical specialists
Develop and document detailed manufacturing test procedures
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging testing technologies
Participate in R&D processes when needed
Technical Support Engineering
Serve as the first point of contact for escalated internal and external technical issues
Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to our products
Develop and maintain troubleshooting guides and knowledge bases
Triage and develop solutions for customer issues
Serve as a technical liaison between the customer and the engineering team
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and support cases
Competencies
Strong technical aptitude with a background in electromechanical systems
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers and internal teams
A proactive and customer-focused attitude to provide exceptional support
Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to hardware and software
Excellent problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting
Ability to develop and execute detailed test procedures for product quality assurance
Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and quality management systems
Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
Proficiency in using various testing equipment and software tools including hand tools
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
Previous experience in customer-facing applications engineering or technical support
Experience in embedded systems, PCB design, and programming (C/C++, C#, Python)
Experience in a test engineering role, particularly in the context of electromechanical devices
Physical Requirements
Daily use of computer keyboard, mouse, and viewing of multiple monitors
Skill and ability to effectively use and manipulate essential job tools
Ability to read, see, hear and speak
Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and actively move about the facility on a regular basis

Work Environment:
Professional office and shop with routine use of standard office equipment such as computer, monitors, calculator, multi-line phone, mobile devices, scanner, filing cabinet, postage meter, and fax machine, as well, as tools used to assemble product prototypes and models.
Potential exposure to shop elements such as noise, dust, odors, and fumes
Personal Protective Equipment: Safety glasses and gloves, as needed
