Process Engineer sought by Carolina Filters, Inc. Responsibilities include: Oversee installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of cleaning process for new and existing applications. Research, design, and evaluate cleaning process procedures to meet company requirements on engineering design and performance specification. Investigate equipment failures or difficulties with diagnosis of faulty operation and recommend remedial actions. Complete cost analysts and process routing for new and existing applications in order to ensure costs are maintained at reasonable levels. Conduct research that tests and analyses the current design and operation of the cleaning process, including equipment, components, and systems. Confer with other engineers and the Director of Operations to review current operating procedures, resolve malfunctions as needed, and overall discuss technical information on new and existing applications. Provide technical support for the Testing and Evaluation department, as needed. Review new and existing applications as needed and recommend changes to the Director of Operations on compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as statutes related to hazardous and non-hazardous waste management, and wastewater treatment. Minimum education: bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field; minimum work experience: 36 mos in Industrial Engineering or related field.
