The City of Irvine seeks a motivated Planning Analyst to serve in the Transportation Planning and Project Development Division of the Public Works and Transportation Department. This position will perform a broad range of transportation planning-related tasks in support of City projects including; identifying project funding, evaluating projects for California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) compliance, and developing grant applications for capital improvement projects. The Analyst will also be responsible for serving as project manager for the preliminary engineering phase of capital improvement projects, assisting in the preparation of transportation-focused master planning documents, preparation of feasibility studies, and/or will provide project support to the department as needed.
