Are you a knowledgeable Die Setter, familiar with various types and sizes of presses? Do you want join the fastest growing powdered metal plant in the area?

Job Description
Understands and supports AAM's safety programs.
Provides support to manufacturing by participating in problem solving and continuous improvement projects to improve quality and reduce scrap.
May initiate quality alerts to communicate changes in control plans, process instructions, or acceptance standards.
Functional understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Coordinates prototype, tool layout, and PPAP activities, and ensures customer requirements are secure.
Processes FMEA, in conjunction with the Engineering Control Plans/Reaction Plans, Process Sheets, Work Instructions, Standardized Work, and JSA’s to ensure quality.
Monitors on-going product quality and processing by maintaining daily contact with manufacturing.
