The Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for a continuing-track (non-tenure track) position in Operations Management. This position is in our expanding Operations Management area, whose growth is fueled by increased interest in data-based analytics and decision making.
Successful candidates will demonstrate the drive and vision to develop an innovative, cutting-edge instructional program and a commitment to scholarly research. Candidates must possess a PhD in operations management or a related field or be ABD with completion expected by September 2022. In addition, candidates should be well qualified to design and teach Operations Management courses, with qualifications to design and teach Business Analytics and/or Management Science courses also being highly valued. Teaching load is typically a maximum of six courses per year with potential reductions for research productivity. Candidates are expected to maintain scholarly academic status for purposes of AACSB accreditation. Promotion in rank is possible but not required.
