Required Education:
4 Year Degree
The Process Engineer/Site Compliance Coordinator oversees the maintenance of facilities and designs new systems. Responsible for equipment, facilities, as well as all regulatory compliance for the site.
Responsibilities
Handle equipment specification, purchasing, and installation
Manage process improvement
Oversee facilities as needed
Manage Lab databases and quality and EH&S reporting system
Maintain, calibrate, and operate lab equipment
Handle all tasks related to safety and compliance
Prepare reports with state and federal government, as well as compliance reports
Prepare and execute safety plan, emergency action plan, Lab chemical hygiene plan, and training
Develop and maintain chemical spill plans, emergency response plan, workplace hazard assessment, respiratory protection, and process safety management
Maintain Standard Operating Procedures and make recommendations for changes to batch tickets
Oversee annual Quality Audit
Act as a backup in Laboratory as needed
Act as backup for Production Supervisor when needed
Qualifications
Minimum Education- Bachelor's degree
Minimum Experience- 5 Years
Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively
This is not a remote position. All applicants must be able to commute or relocate to the Shelton, CT facility.
