This position in our Newport Beach, CA office is for a Mechanical/Plumbing and/or Electrical Designer-Technician, to work with our growing engineering team on projects that include some or all of the following types: K-12 schools, higher education, civic/government, financial services, retail, office, interior renovation, high tech/R&D, mission critical/data centers, and healthcare.

Idea candidates will have most of the following qualifications:
Minimum five (5) years of experience in the AEC industry supporting design and production for electrical, mechanical, and plumbing building systems;
Proficient in providing Revit and/or AutoCAD production support for permit and construction documents for mechanical, plumbing, and/or electrical building systems;
Design capabilities (i.e. electrical load calculations, duct and pipe sizing) a plus;
Experience with construction administration tasks a plus;
ABET accredited Engineering or Architectural Engineering degree a plus;
You are curious and creative with a passion for problem-solving and critical thinking;
You can collaborate in a team setting and with architects at all stages of design; and
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
