The Department of Civil Engineering and Construction (CEC) at Bradley University invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level in the area of water resources engineering, starting in August 2018. Duties include teaching graduate and undergraduate courses, supervising students, and attracting funded research. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications. Applicants should have a B.S. degree in civil engineering. This position requires an earned doctorate with specialization in water resources and emphasis in sustainability. LEED certification and registration as a P.E. in any state are desirable. The selected candidate will work with renowned faculty who have co-authored more than 25 textbooks. The selected candidate will also have unique opportunities to teach overseas through our study abroad programs in the UK, France, Egypt, Jordan, and other destinations. The department currently has 15 full-time faculty positions and approximately 275 students.
